This King suite is large and private. You feel as if you are in your own cottage with all the luxuries of an expensive Spa. The sunshine and woods beckon through the floor to ceiling windows - corner to corner in over 800 square feet overlooking the creek to the left. Original paintings and porcelain, raku sculpture and antique cut crystal grace the suite. It is luxurious to be surrounded by such art and finery.

A massive, filigree king bed is appointed with exquisite celadon chiffon and velvet. Luxurious, romantic pillows in velvet and chiffon make you want to just fall into the bed and never leave. But, you must! If not to just walk outside and meander to the waterfall, or sit on the glider to watch the ripple and hear the babble of the creek while admiring the emerging gardens. When you arrive back to your suite, you will see your bed turned down, a feather bed, with down pillows and comforter. Bed linens of 400+thread count—hmmm what luxury! An antique mahogany secretary accentuates the sitting area where the stone-washed fireplace and velvet sofa greet you to watch satellite television, DVD, listen to classical music, nap, or relax with a book. You might want to curl up with your sweetie and plan your upcoming spa services or hike from the property.

The ambiance of a Victorian garden radiates in the private spa bath. There is an oversized garden gate, and an abundance of plants. With an oversized whirlpool tub, shower for two, double sinks, and water closet, the bath also has a private entrance to the deck with views of the herb garden, woods and creek.

Simple elegance and warmth abound in the American Painted Lady queen guest room. The view overlooks the herb and butterfly gardens, lush woods, and our romantic flowing creek.

Burgundy velveteen and antique beige crewel work canopy appoint the ribbon stripe mahogany queen sleigh bed. The grandfather's vintage dresser and chifferobe evoke a sense of comfortable strength. The walls are a warm khaki tone, adorned with original art from Paris and Costa Rica , and cameo caricatures in porcelain. The bed is dressed with 350+ thread count sheets and down pillows and comforter. There is a jacquard velvet chair –comfy, cozy and positioned for a maximum view.

The private, oversized bath is uniquely hand painted with double sinks, a water closet room, and shower/tub. You can melt into an ambiance of renewal with aromatherapy lotions and potions. Incense and botanical oil candles to set the mood for your evening, bedside treats and story books to read to each other ----who could ask for more?

But, if you do want more….there can be a massage, tae body work, life coaching, nutritional consultation, or other spa service delivered to your room. Order a candlelight dessert brought on silver service when you retire into your feather bed .

The celestial shade of amethyst envelops the Clipper Butterfly King guest room.

The view overlooks a wide expanse of Butterfly Creek. An oversized canopy of silk and embossed velvet grace the king bed. The spacious enchanted room is accented by a primitive white-washed oak dresser, chest of drawers and curved china case, where Austrian art and library share a space. Original whimsical art from all over the South bank the wicker settee overstuffed with ornamental pillows.

The fabrics are lush - appointed with gold sateen on gold embossed jacquard, and deep amethyst velvet and silk. You will sleep on a feather bed, with linens of #350 thread counts or more, down pillows and comforters--- what decadence and comfort!!!

The private bath has hand-painted, cloud-covered walls with pedestal sink, water closet, and shower. The octagon shaped window shows the tree tops across the creek.

Reservations are guaranteed by providing your credit card information or pre-payment by check. Check in is at 4:30 pm unless you need or want to come early! We will accommodate a longer escape to the mountains if you call for early check-in! Check out is by 11:00 am unless prior arrangements are made.

Butterfly Creek is an entirely non-smoking inn.  Violations of this policy will result in a $300 cleaning fee.

Cancellation Policies are as follows: We regret that during horse show weeks, Barbeque Week, and on busy weekends during peak periods, or Holidays, Festivals, we are unable to accommodate cancellations of reservations. Your card will be charged for the full amount. We encourage you to purchase travel insurance much like you would with any other vacation.  If we are not “In season”, and you have a reason to cancel….we will refund 50% of your entire stay, if you give a week's notice or more. If we can fill your room, we will refund the entire amount of your stay.
